Travel - Reports

Ecuador and Peru 2005

I was offered to visit friends of my mother which have been living in Ecuador near the capital Quito. So I took the chance and visited also many other interesting places of this beautiful country meeting lots of interesting people. And right before flying back to Europe I also returned to Peru for the second (and for sure not last) time.

I wanted to say thank you to the people who helped me out during my trip and also sustained and motivated me to stay for a longer time in Sout America. I really appreciated it!

Mexico 2004
What a country! It was not really planned, and maybe that's the reason why I won't forget this trip so quickly. Roland and I had only 12 days to visit Mexico. Starting from Cancun on the peninsula Yucatan we travelled all over to Puerto Escondido on the Pacific Ocean and then headed back north to Mexico City. Have a look and tell me that it wasn't worth it...

Peru 2003
Learning spanish sometimes can bring you really far away. Ok, of course the language course was just an excuse to travel to Peru, but it worked out fine. I lived in Cuzco, the ancient capital of the Inkas, and in the 3 free week-ends I had the chance to visit some of the most impressive sites of this great culture, most of all Machupicchu, Ollantaytambo and Pisaq.

Barcelona 2002
2 weeks of relax and party in a modern and multicultural city. I lived in a nice youth hostel where I met a lot of new friends. The combination of culture, night-live, beach and recreation facilities distinguish Barcelona as one of the "most-wanted" cities in Europe.

Croatia 2001
The legendary trip of the 3amigos. Biograd is a small town on the Dalmation coastline whith all ingredients for a funny and unforgetable holiday: a beautiful landscape and cristal-clear waters, a crowded beach volley court and radio "Otvoreni" which delivers the ideal soundtrack for a layed-back sunset...
